Welcome to Our Middle School Science Wiki Unit!
Our Project:
"You and your partner have been selected to be representatives at the World Biome Conference in New York.
Delegates at the conference will be explaining and defending funding for their particular biome.
As representatives of your biome, your job is to help the National Science Council to understand your biome,
why it is significant, some basic facts about it, and an explanation of what is at stake if your biome isn't preserved.
You will be pairing up with other delegates to present your biome and argue for its defence!"
Critieria:
1. Visual: Title on Page, partners names, balance of graphics and text/videos, neatly organized
2. Content: Understandable and accurate biome information, diverse sources and formats (youutube video, links, short paragraphs, graphics
3. Justification: Short paragraph outlining at least 3 key points in defence of preserving and funding your biome
4. Teamwork/Representation: fair contribution from team members, ability to clearly and accurately articulate reasons for preserving your biome.
